腺苷已可用于：
作为胚胎型培养基；
以3-(4,5-二甲基噻唑-2-酰基)-2,5-二苯基四唑溴化铵(MTT法)和 3H-胸苷掺入法检测其对多药耐药胶质母细胞瘤干细胞(GSCs)的细胞增殖的影响，并作为高效液相色谱(HPLC)的标准品；
作为胶原酶溶液中的一种成分，用于胶原酶消化小鼠脂肪组织。
